The suit itself has such a cool spray-paint style, and has extremely expressive eyes. The suit plays very well in medium-to-wide shots, as well as close-ups that don’t involve the moving eyes (which require CG). The advanced Spider-Man suit that Tony Stark created is filled with cool technology that we didn’t see in Civil War. Most of the cool tech has been disabled as part of some safety systems, and Tony can track the suit via GPS. The Velocity Suit is an original design, and features cool glowing panels and a metallic sheen. The Classic Suit comes with the Web Blossom Suit Power. But this isn’t any ordinary shooting star, and upon impact the mysterious space rock is split open to reveal a shape-shifting symbiote with the power to overtake anything that it comes into contact with. Later, as Harry Osborn (James Franco) acquires his late father’s flying board, engineers a powerful new Goblin outfit, and takes to the sky to avenge dad’s death, the mysterious space sludge infects both Peter’s Spider-Man suit and ambitious street photographer Eddie Brock (Grace). Peter’s strange new suit gives him a newfound sense of power as it gradually overpowers his personality, and he discovers that escaped convict Flint Marko was in fact the man responsible for the death of Uncle Ben (Cliff Robertson).
As the Sandman gives in to his darkest criminal instincts and the slithering space symbiote transforms Eddie Brock into the nightmarish fanged villain known as Venom, the citizens of New York City must once again call on Spider-Man to fend off destructive forces that are far too powerful for the likes of mortal man. Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and James Franco return to reprise their roles from the previous two installments, with Thomas Haden Church, Topher Grace, and Bryce Dallas Howard making their first appearances in the series as Flint Marko (aka Sandman), Eddie Brock (aka Venom), and Gwen Stacy, respectively. Unfortunately for Peter, Marko has recently acquired the power to morph at will and quickly completes his transformation into the dreaded Sandman. Whenever the Avengers need Spiderman’s help, they ask for it, since he is an on-and-off but crucial member of the team, so make sure to join him in helping out heroes like Iron Man, Wolverine, or Captain America, and if one Spider-slinger is not enough for you, make sure to also check out our Into the Spider-Verse Games online, where you can play with Peter, Miles, Spider-Girl, Spider-Pig, and other versions of the character!
Steampunk adaptations of characters have been going around fan sites for some time, and this Victorian era Spider-Man is one that really stands out. As a result, Meinerding went through a lot of different designs, helping the writers figure out what they felt worked. As a result, Meinerding went through several designs in which Mysterio wore a tough, womens spiderman costume bulky sci-fi uniform that’s definitely reminiscent of the Hulkbuster. Concept artist Ryan Meinerding explained that this look was a different interpretation of the character altogether. In the end, of course, Marvel decided to step away from this kind of sci-fi feel, with the trickster’s final look evocative of science and sorcery combined. With Miles Morales now a full-fledged hero, he could easily step up to the plate to bring down his mentor. There were numerous variations on Miles’ current suit, as well as some wildly different suits before the final one that has now been revealed.
Naturally, the Night Monkey suit isn’t nearly as iconic as the Symbiote suit, but it is one of Peter’s more stylish suits. There’s a lot of practical Spider-Man in this movie, more than even the producers had expected going in. In the case of Spider-Man: Far From Home, it seems Marvel decided early on that they wanted to use Mysterio, and even that he’d be pretending to come from another dimension, but they hadn’t initially decided how Mysterio’s powers would work, how his illusions would be generated, or what sort of portrayal they’d want. Despite his positive actions, Peter’s academic, work and personal lives would suffer from decisions he would make, even leading to a variety of tragedies. Pretending to misinterpret the situation as if Peter was merely Spider-Man’s equipment designer and not Spider-Man himself, Otto took the liberty of improving over Peter’s design. Peter Parker (Maguire) has finally leaned to walk the middle ground between being the superhero that his city needs and the man that Mary Jane (Dunst) loves. After seemingly being killed in an accident at Oscorp, Max Dillon emerges as the high voltage super villain, Electro. Richard and Mary Parker, who were killed when Peter was very young.
